This museum has extensive collections focusing on regional history, cultures and crafts. Exhibits include archaeological finds from the Asian region, articles relating to Chinese settlement and trade, Malaysian and Indonesian arts and crafts. It also has superb examples of jade including the 380 piece Haw Par jade collection.

St. Andrew's Cathedral

The first church on this site was built in 1834; struck twice by lightning, it was demolished in 1855. Indian convicts were brought in to construct a new cathedral in 12th-century English Gothic style.

M. Housed in a grand colonial building topped by a giant silver dome. Included in its collection are 20 dioramas depicting the republic's past; the Revere Bell, donated to the original St. Andrew's Church in 1843 by the daughter of American patriot Paul Revere. Exhibits rotate among Singapore's museums.
Jurong Bird Park
Jurong BirdPark is a 20.2 hectare open-concept park. It is the largest in the Asia Pacific and one of the finest bird parks in the world. Its collection of more than 8,000 birds from 600 species is among the largest in the world. The Park specialises in birds from Southeast Asia and the more exotic and colourful tropical birds.
The Park boasts of the world's largest walk-in aviary with the tallest man-made waterfall where visitors can enjoy a close-up view of free-flying birds from Africa and South America in a tropical setting. Another walk-in aviary, the Southeast Asian Birds Aviary, showcases the region's exotic and endangered species of birds. Bird shows, staged at the amphitheatre and the Falconry Arena, are entertaining and educational and have thrilled our visitors from all over the world.
The BirdPark's exhibits and aviaries are specially designed to closely resemble the natural habitats of the feathered species. Lakes and paddocks are built for display of waterbirds and other large flightless birds such as ostriches, rheas, emus and cassowaries. Besides the bird exhibits, there are also open spaces landscaped with exotic flowering plants such as heliconias and anthuriums to enhance the beauty of the BirdPark.
Mandai Zoo
The Singapore Zoo is a model of the `open zoo' concept. The animals are kept in spacious, landscaped enclosures, separated from the visitors by dry or wet moats. The moats are concealed with vegetation or dropped below the line of vision. In the case of dangerous animals such as leopards and jaguars which can climb very well, moat barriers are not used. Instead, these animals are housed in beautifully landscaped glass-fronted enclosures. Oppressive cages which typify old zoos, are absent.The end result is a feeling of openness.
Botanical Gardens
Orchids have been identified with Singapore and are splendid for landscaping. Orchids now grace the sidewalks and prominent areas of Singapore, displaying their beauty and vitality. . It was said that Vanda Miss Joaquim, our national flower, was discovered by Miss Vanda Joaquim. Gold plated orchids are made from casted orchids. Through our project, we hope to reach out to Singaporeans and clear their doubts and misunderstandings and to give an insight to Singapore orchids.
